New Marston Pre-School is parent run and depends on regular fee payments.
Fees from September 2019 are:
- £15.75 per morning session (3 hours)
- £10.50 per afternoon session (2 hours)
- £5.25 per lunchtime session. A packed lunch must be provided.
Nursery Education Funding is available the term after your child is 3 years old (exact dates shown below) to cover your child’s fees. All children are eligible for up to 15 hours per week, and some are eligible for up to 30 hours per week (https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare?utm_source=childcarechoices&utm_medium=microsite) and/or tax-free childcare (https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare?utm_source=childcarechoices&utm_medium=microsite). For other support available to families, please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Please see the council website link below for more information. When your child becomes eligible for funding we will send you a Parental Declaration form to complete and return to us. We will then claim the funding on your behalf. You must complete and return the form by the designated deadline. If you fail to return the form by the deadline we will be unable to make the claim and you will then have to pay fees for the whole term.
|Child’s 3rd Birthday||Funding Commences|
|1st January-31st March||After Easter holiday|
|1st April-31st August||After Summer holiday|
|1st September-31st December||After Christmas holiday|
Because of the way the Nursery Education Funding is organised, ALL parents/carers need to sign a new funding form in April. More information about Nursery Education Funding can be found here: https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/content/free-early-education-3-4-year-olds-0
Please note that Pre-School cannot always offer all eligible children a full 15/30 hours. You can, however, choose to split this funding between Pre-School and another provider.
If your child is under the age of 3 and you have a household income of under £16,190 a year, you may qualify for up to 15 hours free early education each week. More information can be found here.
We request a Voluntary Maintenance Donation of £40 termly (i.e. 3 times per year) to cover the maintenance of the building and the purchase of equipment. This is a voluntary donation and you are not obliged to pay it, but it does make a significant difference in helping us to create an optimal supportive learning environment for our children so any contribution is greatly appreciated. If you are able to make this donation under the gift aid scheme, please complete the gift aid scheme form that you will be sent alongside your bill and return it to the Pre-School with your payment. The parent/guardian who is the tax payer will need to complete the form and return the declaration.
The gift aid scheme allows UK tax payers to make donations to charities and then obtain a tax benefit themselves through their own tax assessment should they wish to do so. Full details of the individual tax benefit can be found at www.hmrc.gov.uk
Please note that if fees are not paid your child risks losing their Pre-School place.
