This is a small white-cased Iittala of Finland Savoy vase, designed by Alvar Aalto, the design dating from the 1930s. The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the base consistent with some 40 years of use. The vase is blown in clear glass cased with white glass. It measures 11 cm (4.4 inches) across at its widest point and is 9.2 cm (3.7 inches) in height. On the underside of the base are etched the words “ALVAR AALTO”. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. It weighs in at 360 g. (~ 13 oz.). Quote item: 7065 Please note: 1.
